Marine with Medal of Valor assualted by Black Lives Matter group.

A "Chapter" is defined as a local branch of an organization. BLM is a "Movement", NOT an organization.

fyi Movement - (a group of people working together to advance their shared political, social, or artistic ideas)

This can spin however a twisted mind wants it to. Bottom line is a group of thuggish bums with their own agenda attacked the Marine, not BLM.

Furthermore, you are wrong. BLM does have chapters. Because you admitted that a chapter is a local branch of an organization, and because BLM has chapters, then your own logic shows that BLM is an organization.

I won't even respond because I see you are already thoroughly confused.

Better yet refer to twisted minds

No doubt. On the website that was posted for BLM they specifically state on that website that BLM is an online forum. I think this now makes BGP a chapter of High School sports.

Wait, so because it has a online forum* it isn't an organization?

"Black Lives Matter is a chapter-based national organization working for the validity of Black life. We are working to (re)build the Black liberation movement."

You are arguing against the founders of BLM right now.

Sounds like a cop-out. I welcome any and all responses.

No cop-out. Just no need for a high school level debate about BLM being the focus of this attack.

Actually I'm not. Go apply for membership to a chapter. It's all online. There aren't BLM headquarters anywhere. You can't roll up to a BLM building in Atlanta and join. It's all online. Each place has an online forum dedicated to each city that has a chapter so they discuss things online about BLM in each city. So in that aspect each place has a chapter but the leader of each chapter is similar to theguru on BGP as each chapter is simply an online forum dedicated to their area like BGP is dedicated to KY. BLM has been and will continue to be an online movement with events from time to time that they organize online. You call it a chapter. I call it a movement.

My gosh. To paraphrase the wife from the State Farm commercial, "They sound hideous".

Close. My daddy is bigger than your daddy. GOTCHA!

ohhhh

All I am saying, is if they refer to themselves as an organization, I don't really understand how you can say otherwise. I never said they were a bad organization, and really never made any comment on what kind of organization they were. I simply stated that they were an organization, which I think(based on the numerous times they refer to themselves as an organization) they would agree with me.

And again, even more relevant to this thread is that this group of kids had zero to do with the BLM movement of the BLM DC chapter. Whatever you want to call it. Asking someone if black lives matter shouldn't equal representation of the BLM movement.

Fair enough.
