February 16, 201610 yr This seems quite a bit ridiculous IMO. Are they arresting people with delinquent mortgages, car payments, or credit card debt? I agree. Jack-booted government thugs comes to mind, and I don't mean the Marshals serving the warrants, they have no choice in the matter.

February 16, 201610 yr No such thing as free. The universities should offset the costs. Also, high schools need to start telling kids that there are other options than a 4 year university. Vocational, etc. Also, kids need to take into consideration the degrees they are getting. The world needs ditch diggers too... ....and until we change the way high schools are structured and funded, this concept is foreign to them. I can't say how disappointed I am in the public education process in the State of Kentucky. We continue to measure our schools by the scores of standardized tests that ultimately mean nothing to the education and training of our future workforce. As I have said before: when schools only have those running them that have only been in school, it's very difficult to know what goes on outside the gates. How in the world can we prepare our future for the world, when we have instructors and institutions that have no clue what it's about ?

There are MILLIONS of incredibly smart individuals that can do ANY job you put them in, but without a degree it means nothing. It's really a shame. How many people are actually working in the field that their degree was in?

Ex: Mazak in Florence, KY hires grads from Gateway who have a 2-year degree in machining(not sure what the actual name is). Guy told me that the average experienced machinist at Mazak makes about $70k. Again, not starting - experienced.

While I get your overall point and generally agree, there are not millions of people that could be a doctor, or a nurse, or a physicist or pharmacist, etc. without the proper education. Way too large of a generalization.

Thus, contempt of court. The video had a guy on it claiming he received no notice until seven armed agents and a debt collecting lawyer showed up at his door. He was arrested and taken before a federal judge.
