Sen Cruz: "I Will Make School Prayer Mandatory" (Satire)

Featured Replies

GOP candidates keep getting crazier by the day. Didn't someone perform an exorcism on this crazy man(Cruz) the other day at a campaign event?

Yeah, because chicks who pray have never gotten knocked up. Is he serious?

Please consider the source......

Other headlines from that garbage site:

"Ben Carson in Stable Condition after Apparent Suicide"

"Peyton Manning Caught Drinking a Bunch Coors Lights"

"WWE to Hold Try Outs for Johnny Manziel"

and the best one

"God Commits Suicide Following GOP Debate"

I am sure Clyde knew that this was a satire site, (very obvious by the name of the website), but the less intelligent on this site will likely believe every word of it.

Remember where he is heading next. This will play big in the south.

Oops. I , sadly, will fall into the less intelligent. I didn't look at the website nor any of the articles. Saw it on Twitter.

It sounded so Ted Cruz that I just assumed it was legit. This came after I read an article about a comment his wife made about Ted being the face of God for the country.

1+1 = 2 type of logic.

Egg on my face.

Once again, when you fish in the septic tank you can plan on smelling like :poop:

Forgive me for not buying that was the exact verbiage as reported on that site. I'd like to hear what he actually said. If that was verbatim, well he's a moron. Yet I doubt that was an accurate quote.

Cruz still promotes religion too much. The article may not be legit but deep down in I bet Cruz loves the idea.

All good in my book. Everyone makes mistakes occasionally. I recently fell for the "Chipotle is giving away a free burrito" Facebook scam a couple weeks ago. Felt like a big dunce when I told my buddies about it.

Glad you caught that because I was thinking, "what in the hell, why didn't we hear about this before now?" :lol2:

How much is too much? If we believe that Christianity is inherently good, and promotes morally sound ethics, values and principals, then shouldn't we want our leaders to exude Christianity?

This is just an observation, and there are quite obviously many variables to could play a role in this, but it seems as if the farther we distance our country from Christianity, we have seen an increasing level of lack of respect for human life, lack of respect for authority, general loss of cordiality. We have removed a fundamental "guideline" of how to interact with each other from out society, and wonder why we see things like mass killings, violence and numerous other problems that plague us today.

And before someone jumps my case for being a "bible thumper" know that I am far far far from that.

Any

I hate these sites so much. I've fallen for it before.

It's not satirical or entertaining if you write a fake but plausible news story. It's a cheap gimmick to get clicks.
