Coach Ansley is going to miss out on coaching some really nice defensive backs coming to UK. Of course, he will have some great ones at Alabama.

 

Good coach, good guy, he will be missed.

Can't blame him, an opportunity to work in Saban's system has been beneficial to many assistant coaches. Good luck to him, as one post said, good coach and a good man.

UK has spoken to Ed Reed.

 

I don't know why Ed Reed would want to coach college football where it is a grind and he certainly isn't hurting for cash. Where in the NFL the offseason is a little more relaxed. But if he were to become UK's DB coach, idk how any recruit can say no to him.

Ansley will be missed at UK. Don't blame him for going though. Learn from one of the best for a few years and slide into a winning position as a HC, something most guys don't get when they make the leap to the HC job.

Another UC hire when they could have hired me for half the cost? :D

 

Hope it works out. Don't like raising the UC staff. What have they done to warrant an SEC gig for half the staff? Willing to give it a shot though.
