PurplePride92 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I heard Eric Powell had a good game for Lafayette.
PurplePride92 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Lose to LCA by 29. Beat Mercer County by 18 the next night. This season is stupid.
Wireman Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 This is what I was afraid of with Mercer County. They'll still be fine. Favorites in the 12th for sure.
Slim859 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Shout out to Silo for calling this one on a previous post!
Blake1978j Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Time to see how they bounce back. Great run!
Lawnboy13 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Lose to LCA by 29. Beat Mercer County by 18 the next night. This season is stupid. It's playing out that way.
TexasRanger Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Lose to LCA by 29. Beat Mercer County by 18 the next night. This season is stupid. Of course. Sorry I couldn't help myself.
SHS Future Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I think this is a good loss for Mercer. I watched them play Pulaski Co. and they looked like they were going through the motions. This should wake them up.
First Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I think this is a good loss for Mercer. I watched them play Pulaski Co. and they looked like they were going through the motions. This should wake them up. THIS. Mercer has gone through the motion for several games now. They play like they think they can turn it on when they want to. They thought they were playing a Lafayette team that lost by 30 to LCA last night. Truth be told, they should've lost to West Jess. Maybe Anderson. If it were just tonight, I wouldn't be as concerned. They've lost the chip they'll need. Let's see if this gets it back.
MOver Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 First regular season loss for Mercer County since Feb. 10, 2015 at Lincoln County. Almost made it a calendar year. KHSAA has Harrison Lane and Jajuante Carpenter averaging a combined 17.4 points per game before the game at Lexington Christian. The two combined for 41 tonight (Lane 21, Carpenter 20).
charliefleet Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Agee. Probably a good loss if you can have one. Mercer still number 1 in my book.
Oldercoach Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Silo11 predicted this in an earlier thread. He must be a genius!
Blake1978j Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Agee. Probably a good loss if you can have one. Mercer still number 1 in my book. I second that, of course I'm a homer so I've had them #1 for a good bit now!
