Is the KHSAA ready to impose the "Death Penalty" on Covington Holy Cross?

Featured Replies

I've never said you were jealous. I've called you creepy for obessing over girls high school basketball. Very odd.

If he's creepy then everyone else on BGP is creepy. For the most part, we are all grown men and women still obsessing over all high school sports in KY. Otherwise, why would we be here on BPG?!

No disagreement from me a lot of people on here are kind of creepy how far they take HS sports obsession.

@CAP must be busy at work!

Anybody that takes pleasure and has glee about any program of any high school sport getting a "death penalty" is pathetic IMO. I would not think that about my worst rival. After all, this is about high school kids.

I was just told that about three weeks ago the KHSAA decided that there was nothing to be seen. I was also told that it centered around one player.

Of course unless someone made 1,000 more phone calls to the KHSAA in the past few weeks and got it going again, lol.

If you ever own BGP then you can make those decisions.

I love this post.

guess time will tell.

I don't think anyone is taking joy in it. And it is about the kids. It's about all the kids. Not just the ones playing at HC. If there are rules being broken by adults, then I feel terrible for the kids involved and the kids at the other schools that have to play and compete against schools that are not following the rules.

And as for me...I have no idea what will or will not come of it. I haven't mentioned death and any other kind of penalty yet. I just know there is and has been a thorough investigation about it.

I'd be happy to tell anyone what I do know in a PM. But you have to reveal who you are first. Whether anything comes of any of this is up to the KHSAA. But I know they have evidence on multiple things. I just don't know what their guidelines are regarding "proof". And that one player may have fought and got out of it, but there was a lot more than that one player. Again, it comes down to proof and what they feel they will stand behind. Regardless of what they "officially" rule, there were things that I know they found out in the process. Lack of proof and what they are willing to put their name behind doesn't mean they aren't aware of it.

I have been busy, work is a blast let me tell you.

RCC9 is correct there has been a thorough investigation that has been going on for quite sometime. Also this isn't just about the girls program the boys are involved to is what I have been told by a pretty good source. The KHSAA has been in NKY let me just say that and it isn't to a Coney. At the end of the day HC has created this and if something happens its on them and no one else. I don't want nothing to happen to any school in Ky but like RCC9 said time will tell. I am sure what will happen but I have heard that there are more than lets just say a lot more than 20 allegations. Again I am only stating what I heard but its people that seem to know a lot about it lets just keep it at that.

How dare you...

Wait.....

I would post but it would be called a witch hunt. It is amazing to me that this thread has been up for this long without Maverick chiming in! Like @RCC9 has said, time will tell. I too want to be part of that Ice Cold Coke(Zero) conversation.

You're in! The invitee list is growing by the minute! We may have to rent the Highlands football recruiting dorm out for this one! You know...the spa area where all the out of district kids hang in the off season.

I thought any school with a religious name or symbol was allowed to recruit.
