New York City to Allow Public Urination

Surely this can't be legit... Can it?

Two articles, same subject... could not read more differently. :lol2:

Shocker, I know.

I say to-may-to, you say to-mah-to.

I say Randy, you say Beelzebub.

Just go ahead and take these two words out of the dictionary, or better yet out of the English language, COMMON SENSE.

I guess these are the "New York values" that Ted Cruz was talking about...

What is a civil tribunal? Is is something covered by the constitution? How is due process protected with these entities? Who oversees this? I just see a new level of bureaucracy being created, that has to be funded.

New York's court administrative structure is impossible to navigate. Looks completely unlike Kentucky's. This tribunal could easily be a structure that already exists.

Kentucky does have administrative courts which function as civil tribunals designed to enforce certain directives made by the executive and the legislature. There is likely a similar structure regarding city laws in NYC.

So basically you get a ticket now instead of being arrested?

Which makes sense. Taking drunk guys to jail for this instead of sticking them in a cab has always bugged me.

I am a man and the world is my urinal!

Haven't read any of the links/articles posted herein but I try to pee outside as frequently as possible (mostly at my own home, to avoid criminal issues) so I must support this.

That's the way it read to me.

Thread title is misleading IMO. They aren't allowing it, just changing the punishment for it.

I feel God made it easy for man to pee outside, so I must.
