doomer
My house was surrounded last night. We were watching TV and howling came up both sides of the house. I immediately ran out to the deck to save my cat, but she wisely had already gone through her door into the garage. This is the closest they have been in a couple of years. Of course I locked her in the garage the rest of the night.

The Professor
Don't know if he had his facts straight or not but a buddy told me that one of the departments at UK once a few years ago had an advertisement offering a certain fee for anyone with a killed coyote to bring it in for study. He said they discovered that in most of the examined coyotes stomachs/intestines were the remains of cats. My brother actually saw a coyote run a cat down and kill it at our golf course. He was standing on our clubhouse deck just about sundown and the coyote ran out of the bushes next to our number 2 green and caught the cat off guard, grabbed it and ran back over the hill into the bushes . Didn't realize that predators were in that high of demand. I won't mind making a couple hundred bucks. Thanks for info.
doomer
A coyote woke me up at 1 AM howling outside of my bedroom late last week. I opened the door and yelled at it. Haven't seen any since.
