Could Joe Biden be ready to pinch hit if this doesn't go away soon? That is what I was wondering. In the event she is indicted, Democratic leadership has to know they have no shot. My presumption is Biden is the guy. It is no coincidence that in the past couple weeks he has shown "regret" for not running. Why would he come out and say that now if his camp wasn't feeling out the pulse of the nation? It would make sense if it was a year later and Biden was regretting his decision, this is just a few weeks later. Could someone else like an Elizabeth Warren arise? I don't even know how it works if we get mid-primary and the other shoe drops.

If she is indicted it could damage her beyond repair in regards to her efforts to win the White House. One can be the "Teflon Don" for a while but eventually enough hits will finally get you.

But think of the terrible position it could put this country in if in fact she was elected, then impeached soon after taking office. The entire election would have essentially been for nothing. The fact that is a real possibility and people are still supporting her is even more disturbing.
