January 14, 201610 yr Did I hear the NFL kicked in $300 mil to help the move? The stadium looks incredible. I hadn't heard that, but it wouldn't be surprising since the ultimate plan is to relocate the NFL corporate campus to wherever the new stadium would be. That money would certainly offset the relocation fees.
January 14, 201610 yr Greedy owner is actually turning down $400 million in tax payer funds from St. Louis to build a $2 billion LA stadium with his own funds. Yes he may make more money in the end...but he's doing it without fleecing the locals to pay for it. I still feel bad that the Jags got Khan instead of the Rams. Love it as a Jags fan, feel bad as a Rams guy..

It's believed to be the Raiders and Bengals. I seen on reddit that it was Chiefs and Dolphins. Guess it will be interesting to see who voted against it.

January 16, 201610 yr No longer get to hear Jags to LA. Least for a while. Jags to London? Haha sorry man, had to do it. I wish they would stay in Jacksonville though because the fans really do deserve it after putting up with that team for all these years.

January 16, 201610 yr Isn't the salary cap based on a percentage of the gross revenues? So if you are paying the players more, that means you are making more. But with Mike Brown I can believe it.

January 17, 201610 yr Author New Stadium will have a West Coast version of the HoF, a Draft Theater (hosting the draft yearly I'd guess), will hold the Combine, satellite West Coast Offices for the league, will host Pro Bowls (not sure how often) and I heard on NFL Network will be in line to host SB around every 4 years. Stadium will be on the short list for NCAA Basketball Final Fours for years to come, it will likely get PAC 10 Conf Title Game from time to time and I would expect a New or relocated Major Bowl Game at some point. There is already some talk of LA making another push for the Olympics in the coming years with this stadium being a center point of those plans. Chargers owners have the option of footing half of the bill to build the stadium (around $1billion for their share +$555,000 relocation fee) or pay the Rams Rent for using the stadium.
