formerkywrestler Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Koch brother: Trump plan would 'destroy free society' - CNNPolitics.com ...but will support the R nominee with his war chest. Seems like a lot of talk with no backing to me...
LIPTON BASH Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I never understand why the Koch brothers are so vilified. It's not like the Democrats lack in Billionare donors.

Randy Parker Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 This field of candidates may not be great, but it's significantly better than 2012 IMO.
Pioneer.Pride Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 " Charles Koch Not Happy with Republican Field " - that they cannot purchase!
Clyde Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 He's one of many. My point is those are the two that get vilified.
TexasRanger Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 If gop.guy = 'trump' Then koch.guy = 'Screwed' Else Koch.guy = 'back in the saddle again'
ggclfan Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I never understand why the Koch brothers are so vilified. It's not like the Democrats lack in Billionare donors. Because slime ball Harry Reid got up on the Senate floor and slammed them and the press picked up on it making it sound like they run the R party...
Dlbdonn Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) I worked around a Koch brothers Co. back in the 90's at Dow Corning in Carrollton . All their workers were Mexican except the supervision . We had a guy from Texas of Mexican descent working for us fluent in Spanish . He found out that they all were illegal . We reported the company to the INS and poof they were there on Friday and replaced on Monday with a different crew of American workers . The Koch's are like any other slimy businessmen if they can cheat and it is profitable they will try to get away with the illegal activity . It didn't work that time . Twotoplace Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I never understand why the Koch brothers are so vilified. It's not like the Democrats lack in Billionare donors. Because the Koch bros seek out publicity, unlike other billionaire donors. Actually, Charles Koch offered sensible viewpoints in the Financial Times interview cited in the link. If Trump or Cruz wins the nomination, I would be surprised if the Koch bros offer much in the way of financial support.
