All State Baseball Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Heard some rumblings that he may follow Gran and Hinshaw to UK but nothing major or close to being major rumblings. Any chance this happens?
newarkcatholicfan Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Mr. Transfer himself will not be the answer to U.K. QB problems.
All State Baseball Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 If Johnson comes to UK I don't think Kiel will because UK will have 3 QB in Hoak Johnson and Barker. If Johnson doesn't come to UK then I can see Kiel coming on board.
John Anthony Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Doesn't make sense with the keys being given to Barker. Kiel has taken a lot of nasty hits, hope he's just focusing on life after football.
Wireman Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 No he would not be coming. The SEC doesn't allow transfers like Kiel.
RomanEmpire Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Doesn't the SEC mandate two years of eligibility remaining for transfers, essentially eliminating those 5th year graduate transfers?
LRCW Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Doesn't the SEC mandate two years of eligibility remaining for transfers' date=' essentially eliminating those 5th year graduate transfers?[/quote'] Julius Mays says no.
RomanEmpire Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Julius Mays says no. Just something I heard the other day while discussing with an SEC fb coach. Name some 5th year graduate transfers who play football.
Clyde Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Doesn't the SEC mandate two years of eligibility remaining for transfers' date=' essentially eliminating those 5th year graduate transfers?[/quote'] Graduate transfers have to have two years left. Is Kiel a graduate?
RomanEmpire Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Graduate transfers have to have two years left. Is Kiel a graduate? Honestly, have no clue what his status is.
Clyde Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Honestly' date=' have no clue what his status is.[/quote'] Curious what his issues are. Odd.
JDEaston Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Everything I have read about it seemed like it was just wishful thinking by some prior to the staff offering Johnson. Personally I think Johnson will commit when he takes his visit at UK. An interview I read of him talking about the offer more less tells me he is a lock to commit.
RomanEmpire Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Curious what his issues are. Odd. Have heard things, but don't care to speculate about a kid's personal issues. Wish him well.
98NCCalum Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Have heard things, but don't care to speculate about a kid's personal issues. Wish him well. He's hardly a "kid"
Wireman Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Again, he doesn't meet SEC transfer requirements.
