NO NO NO NO. Consolation games are terrible. I remember the days of a consolation game in the NCAA tournament. You could tell the teams had no desire to be there.

Serves no purpose. I know that argument can be made for all the other bowl games, but I can't imagine that the teams would want to do it, or that anyone would want to watch it.

Nope! But I did like watching both semis. That's plenty of teams to even be in the running for the championship. No need to take it to 8 teams.

No.. But would like to see in lieu of conference championship games weekend -(do away with conference championship games) to expand and see something like the top 8 (seeded) play the weekend when the normal conference championship games are played with the winners then advancing to the BCS Bowls (re-seed). Then have the National Championship game. That way all doubt is eliminated along with keeping bowl format in place and not adding any extra games.

No to consolation game also...we already have several bowl games where one team doesn't want to be there. This would be a game where neither team wanted to be there.

If you do it, then no Seniors can play. Just players that will have eligibility for the upcoming season could play in the "Consolation Game"

I think Republicans and Democrats, blacks and whites, men and women, Christians and Jews and Muslims and atheists, dumb and smart, tall and short, skinny and fat...all agree, NO to a consolation bracket:lol2:

This exactly. It was bad enough in basketball.
