Yeah, Burfict was clearly pulling on the ball... Not hitting or shoving the player... He also let go pretty quickly after the whistle and they guy did a falling back acting job.. Refs let Denver sideline call that penalty... On our side, prob isn't a flag

It's irrelevant to the game's outcome discussion but aren't the TV announcers suppose to be neutral in these games. Gruben might as well put on a Broncos helmet and went to their sideline. Just my opinion but he couldn't hide his feelings throughout the game in the booth.

With Dalton they probably don't get conservative in the second half. I mean. I get them wanting to protect McCarron but he has shown he can make all the throws. Bengals have to realize like it or not he is their qb and they need to trust he can get it done. Can't play conservative like the did in second half and win agaisnt good teams.

 

Big difference between protecting a young, inexperienced QB; and totally handcuffing him as Marvin & Hue did. AJ did well enough in the first half to warrant some trust in the 2nd half.

 

Once again, Marvin played not to lose!

 

Wade Phillips noticed the change, adjusted accordingly & Bengals lose--Not really rocket science.

They were trying their best to talk the officials in the booth to review the "fumble" by McCarron to end the game... That's for sure.

 

When they were reviewing, they were saying it's clearly a fumble.

 

Btw, can the networks please quit bringing in these retired officials to talk about replays... Seems like everytime they do, the guys on the field rule differently than their opinion.. Just lets us fans know how "human" and imperfect all the officials really are. In other words, if that guy was on the field, the game would've been over even sooner. Just annoys me. Lol!

I completely agree! He has shown he can make all the throws. You have to take your chances and trust him now.

Gruden kept talking about the big adjustment for Denver defensively, how about the adjustment away from what was working for Hue? How many second and third and longs did we have in the 2nd half? Run the ball on 1st down and gain 3 and 4 yards and give AJ a 2nd and manageable and you have a multitude of options. Instead they would have 2nd in long and Denver would send everyone and the o line couldn't handle it. Loss is on Hue and Marvin. AJ played very well besides the snap obviously. AJ is better now than AD was his first season. But with that said this teams only chance is with Andy Dalton.

He's definitely not as good or as experienced as Dalton, yet he played good enough to win in regulation if others would've done their job too... I.e. Nugent missing a huge kick and Green stopping on a TD pass...

Well his stats were better than Bens the last 2 weeks so...

3 points the final 35 minutes? He was bad. Dalton wins that game tonight. Michael Vick wins that game tonight. The Bengals Defense was great. Quit blaming Green, he did not stop running the ball was overthrown a bit.
