Just read that article...she is certainly singing a different tune now than she did while under oath.

She never testified in his trial.

Nancy Grace's show and ethical journalism are like hand and glove. I wonder what her "expenses" package looked like for her appearance.

I hate to speculate like that but her reasoning for her 180 didn't make much sense. I'm taking it with a shaker of salt.

Well, finished it. I mainly am mad at the judges, they let all the stuff go through, no courage at all. The kid absolutely deserves a new trial. Convicted on the basis of a coerced confession that was demonstrably false in many respects all while being represented by probably the worst lawyer ever. At first I thought he was incompetent, but really he was simply working for the prosecution.

I think Steven probably guilty but that key, and the blood, was planted. I don't think I could have voted him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Really a great example of how things can get ugly when people don't do their jobs.

I finally finished the series. What stands out most to at the end was the investigator crying at hearing to determine whether Brendan would get a new trial. Seems like his guilty is eating him alive.

The guy that was fake crying over the stupid blue ribbon?

Yeah. I took it that he was crying over what he did to Brendan.

Yeah. I took it that he was crying over what he did to Brendan.

I think he was fake crying to distract from the fact that he was completely wrong in what he did.

Yeah. I took it that he was crying over what he did to Brendan.

I took it the other way, that he was trying to justify what he did.

I have finished #8. I wont go over what alot have said here, but I could not say 100% beyond a reasonable doubt he is guilty. He very well might have murdered her, but the police botched this investigation to a point where anywhere else he would have been let go. There are alot of bad bad crap that went on with Brendan. I will read the stuff everyone has posted here after I watch it all.

Bobby and his stepfather who were "hunting" that day and who are each other's alibi's need a lot more questioning. Brendan's statements have been nothing but inconsistent, he's making most of it up as he goes but he isn't very bright. I think he was coached/manipulated.

There is little doubt in my mind that Brendan is innocent and just was a slow child manipulated by an authority figure.

Steve is likely guilty, but the way everything was handled with the investigation seriously leads to some serious doubt as to how anyone could convict beyond a reasonable doubt.

You should watch all of his interviews. He offers up a lot of details without being coerced at all.
