January 11, 201610 yr Agree on the first paragraph. On the second, why didn't you like Django? I hate the "n word" and felt its usage in that movie went way beyond gratuitous. Like I was being beaten over the head with it.
January 11, 201610 yr That is ludicrous. I have kids exactly that age, and I'm pretty liberal with what I'll take my 10 year old to see, and it wouldn't occur to me for 1 second to take them to see this. Funny aside, my son still gripes about me not letting him see the funny teddy bear movie ("Ted"). On this movie, zero chance I see it, in the theater, on my TV, in a house or with a mouse. None. As much as I LOVED "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction", I think "Django" has permanently turned me off to Q.T. Django had no redeeming qualities.
January 11, 201610 yr Finally got around to watching this last night. Personally I didn't like it. It seemed promising at first, but I lost interest as it went on. Actually fell asleep near the end of it, so I don't even know the ending.

Actually fell asleep near the end of it, so I don't even know the ending. Everybody got naked and tried to get Samuel Jackson to give them a blanket.
January 11, 201610 yr Django had no redeeming qualities. I thought that Christoph Waltz was great; Sam Jackson too.
February 7, 201610 yr Author I hate the "n word" and felt its usage in that movie went way beyond gratuitous. Like I was being beaten over the head with it.This movie goes a bit overboard with that too.
February 8, 201610 yr I liked it. Probably one of the weaker QT movies overall, but still a good movie. I don't get the hate for Django. Loved it. Much better than Hateful Eight.
February 8, 201610 yr I thought that Christoph Waltz was great; Sam Jackson too. I agree, especially Waltz.
December 7, 20169 yr Finally caught this on HBO or Showtime or somewhere and recorded it. First off it is looooooong, I liked at the end no one really had any redeeming qualities as far as the main characters go. When it comes to people getting what they deserved in the end it was a win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win! Poor OB and the store owners. Overall I liked it, probably won't invest that much time in it to ever watch it again...but I liked it.
December 15, 20169 yr Saw it last night. Loved it. Another great Tarantino movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
