December 31, 201510 yr Watched it last night. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It is definitely a slooooooooow burn so I echo RTS, if you want non-stop action, then don't pay to watch this one in theaters. I don't think it is as good as Django, but it was another enjoyable trip back to the 19th century.

January 1, 201610 yr Author After the movie, as we were walking out, I noticed a guy brought his kids to the movie. The oldest was maybe 10 or 11, the youngest had to be around 6. That's just bad parenting, this movie is absolutely NOT something you should take a child to! :no: When you see it, I think you'll agree.

I've not seen the movie, but just the fact that Sam Jackson is in it, makes me believe that there would be quite a few "F" bombs at the least. I'm not sure that Tarantino has ever made a movie that would be appropriate for a 6 year old.

Can't believe anyone would be that dumb.

I'd feel uneasy about watching it with my 16 year old let alone 6-11 years old. It's a Tarantino movie. Probably should be NC-17. :lol2:

January 2, 201610 yr Saw it last night thought it was pretty good but not great. It had some really cool scenes with some good dialogue. Was not a fan of the ending but I would give it 2 thumbs up.

I have kids exactly that age, and I'm pretty liberal with what I'll take my 10 year old to see, and it wouldn't occur to me for 1 second to take them to see this. Funny aside, my son still gripes about me not letting him see the funny teddy bear movie ("Ted"). On this movie, zero chance I see it, in the theater, on my TV, in a house or with a mouse. None. As much as I LOVED "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction", I think "Django" has permanently turned me off to Q.T.
