What do stats say? Camels shot 70%. Only 18 rebounds. 18 boards in Covcath and Holy Cross games also. HC shot 6 free throws and CovCath shot only 5. Maybe the Camels should be more interested where the ball is.

Campbell Co. has so many live-ball turnovers for touchdowns, it is hard to foul a dude 20' ahead of you on a break-away.

 

Camels will typically get to the line a more than their opponent because they have the best post player in the area. He gets fouled a bunch.

I am not a CC fan. But you have to give some credit to Wilson. He cant win by himself, someone has to step up.

Did Wilson get more touches than he did against CCH?

I'm a Campbell County fan and a huge Matt Wilson fan and think that he probably draws double teamed on shots and rebounds. So if the other teams are getting runout baskets and we're not getting rebounds or playing close enough defense to draw an occasional foul where are our players?

I don't think the coaching is an issue. With the teams they've had the last 2 years there weren't a lot of opportunities for playing time for the boys playing now. The Camels will find their way and get better but I would agree that it's time for guys to step up.

Even if he didn't start he's experienced. The other 3 started so you have at least 3 starters and one experienced varsity player in your starting lineup. Every team loses players.
