Steelers 33 Bengals 20

Featured Replies

Well, I mean, they have lost 3 of their last 5 games after starting 8-0. If they didn't peak too soon...what happened?

I don't know if there's any one thing to point to, but I don't think a 16 game NFL season is quite as linear to be able to blame a loss on something as intangible as peaking too early.

My take is that is that in the first eight games the Bengals won three games were a toss up during the last possession (Ravens, Seahawks, and Steelers) then in the last five they lost two in the same manner (Texans and Cardinals). Today was the first game they lost where the other team was undoubtedly better that day. who knows how they adjust going forward but this was also the first time this season they had to deal with major injuries and it wasn't pretty.

That was a tough loss with Bell, but you can't compare a RB's impact compared to a QB.
true indeed. Felt that for 4 games as well

I said to Bengal Maniac before the game, the Steelers are healthier and trending upward that way. Still seems the case. This time of the year health is key. And thankfully no significant injury for my guys today

And I'll stop with this. My 2 least disliked players in the league are Burfict and Mitchell. No place in the game for their garbage. Both are dirty. Two punks if you ask me.

I really, really hope the Steelers don't get into the playoffs.

And Oakland helped out today beating Denver. Next week is big either way with the Steelers/Denver game.

So I will ask the question, wasnt this the drop year of Andy's new contract? If so, do you keep him?

You do mean most disliked right? I agree.

If Bengals remain one of the top two seeds, even if Steelers get in sixth seed has to play one seed maybe Patroits, if Pats win tonight.

Bengals will keep him.

Don't know where this "out for the season" is coming from. On AD's post game interview and Marvin's post game everything was dependent on his seeing a specialist tomorrow.

Denver still has to play Pittsburgh, so if the Bengals take care of business against SF and Baltimore, we're the 2 seed as long as Pitt beats Denver.

Correct. I typed poorly

I just want the Steelers in. Don't care about seed. Don't fear any team. Think they got a decent shot at anyone. Ben is really really good.

Ben is playing really really well. They will be a tough out. I think they win out and get 6 seed. I hope the Bengals get the 2 seed. Looks like AD is 4-6 weeks best case. If 4 he could be back for 1st playoff game if they are 1 or 2 seed.
