Good thing Freel and Griffey avoided a collision there. It would be probably not good if they were injured.

The 3rd base coach makes his decision based on where the ball is when the runner is approaching 3rd base. Despite the pitcher coming up it was still a good decision to hold the runner at 3rd.

Down 6-0, they can't expect their pitcher to get a 2 out RBI. Agree to disagree?

Someone please call The Captain.

If he had sent the runner the pitcher would have been leading off the next inning. The play wouldn't have even been close.

Freel is sooo speedy. AK doesn't make that catch.

You are assuming Ross catches that ball, which we didn't know while the play was happening.

Back to back singles from Sanchez and Bay, the Pirate all stars. Let's just get out of this inning, please.

Nady with a 2 run double. 6-2 us.

Well Milton's ERA was under 5.00 for an inning. :irked:

Milton nearing 70 pitches thru the 1st 3 inning. I can't see him lasting long. The Reds will have to score more than 6 runs to win this game.

I remember Milton blowing a 5-0 lead against the Royals earlier in the year. I sure don't want a replay of that. :scared:

:madman:

The lead is shrinking. I, for one, am getting scared.
