If the split is made, are you going to have 2 champions in every class? KY football is already watered down with 6 classes. Looking at the weekly poll standings when they are published, it is comical to see teams with losing records in the top ten in the state.

All the advantages? No boundaries? last time we checked 6 classes and 6 public school winners in this season state championship. No boundaries? Huh Belfry has WV players which is not illegal, other public schools have open enrollment and how about independence school? They also have open enrollment to some extent. Advantage?

IDK I am not sure about that.

Someone more familiar can clarify, but to my memory the problem was not that Fairview accepted players from out of state. That, in and of itself, is not against the rules. Fairview was guilty of illegally obtaining players, recruiting, falsifying adresses, etc.

Yeah- no reason, except a million. Starting with convincing all the private schools in those states agreeing to split off and create this league you describe.

Oh yeah- travel should be fun too.

But what the heck- all those private schools need to do is open up that little trapdoor that leads to all the money they hoard.
