December 8, 201510 yr Again in fairness, there are already at least 4 kids from NKY, 1 from Western Ky and 7 from Louisville on EKU's roster. And I know a few NKY kids that have went to EKU and not stayed over few years. If you're saying they should get that many every year, that would make up nearly half their roster, at least 40 kids(10/year X 4 years). If that were the case they'd be getting nearly every D1 kid in those areas or they'd be reaching too much for talent. Folks tend to overestimate how much true D1 talent there really is in KY. There are 10 kids a year from Ky who can play there by the time they are JRs. I dont think they are impact players as FR, but eventually they will be good players.

I will agree with that. And right now there are 32 KY kids on the roster. Given those numbers, I wouldn't agree they they could do much better.

December 8, 201510 yr Guys, RELAX.... Remember this is a stop gap hire, once the facilities are upgraded if they are terrible they will let this guy go and get a new coach to make a splash. . If this guy does good, well then maybe they keep him longer term.

John Harbaugh comes to mind, because there are organizational and leadership things dealing with the entire roster and directing other coaches. B. EKU is not FCS and coaches have to cut their teeth somewhere, somehow, and to act like EKU is too good to hire an SEC coordinator is just not true. C. This guy is going to preside over the transition to FCS and get his brains beat in and get fired whether he is a good coach or not.

December 9, 201510 yr Any decision on the staff or is it still too soon? Assuming that most Assistants are off somewhere coaching (clearly not in NKY for the EKU guys).
