December 11, 201510 yr I wouldn't turn my football program over to a guy who has been a TE coach, a RB coach, a LB coach, a safeties coach and a special teams coach. Time will tell us how it works out. Jon Harbaugh was a special teams coach when he got the call from the Ravens, that worked out pretty well.

No argument there, but coordinating special teams is a difficult task, you have to deal with every player on the roster, not just offense or defense. I would say from a coordination and organizational standpoint special teams coordinators are second only to head coaches IMO. I think it is a good hire, been with Butch for a number of years and being at a resurgent Tennessee is icing on the cake. Fan of the EKU program, wish them nothing but the best.
