That's weird. It hasn't popped up on mine in a while. I wonder what triggers it?!

It's out of control on my phone today. Worse it has ever been.

 

It popped up on mine three times yesterday but nothing today.

It's definitely not a virus on our phones... It has something to do with BGP, as it doesn't happen on any other page for me.

 

Just don't know what it is.

Everyone, I understand for many of you, you only get the spam/virus when you are surfing BGP but it has nothing to do with BGP. Obviously the link I provided is from people complaining about the same virus and I doubt any of them have even heard of BGP. In my simple way of thinking about things, basically it looks like some iOS applications are getting injected with some malicious code and based on a matrix of factors that code intentionally attempts to mislead you to believe that a certain site (BGP in this case - a gazillion other sites in everyone else's case) is serving you an advertisement when really it is a scam/virus/spam.

 

I am sorry everyone, there are a lot of crooks out there, and they get more and more sophisticated all the time.

On a personal note, if BGP was serving Ads that intrusive, I would be making a fortune from advertising. Just saying.

Same. I quit looking on my phone after the 8th time. I just waited to get on the laptop at home.

I am always accessing via my phone and I have not received that spam once. Not looking for it, but is the issue confined to iPhones?

When it's popping up are you guys using Safari? Try it in Chrome or Firefox and see if still pops up.

This! It is somehow tied to BGP but probably due to some phishing that somehow searches certain users of the site.
