I'm kind of thinking he would be a great influence on the young pitching staff but as more of a player/coach. He is not talking about the money being the same as his previous contracts. He is talking about if Cincinnati offers the same amount as other teams will offer him, then he will come back. Which I don't think others will offer him much, so it would just depend if the reds want him or not.
