It will be interesting to see the development of Deron and Marcus Williams over the next 5 years as opposed to 'Bassy and Rajon (on the same team or not). I thought the Celtics did a nice job adding Ratliff and freeing up space, however, if they don't pull off the AI deal, they are stuck with two inexperienced PG's that seem to share the same limitations. It will be interesting to keep an eye on. Again, as a 23 year Sixer fan, I adamantly don't want either of them (Rondo or Bassy) on "my" team. \ Because the pg's you have had for the last decade have been so good?

AI has only been running the point the last couple of years, and not surprisingly, they haven't done very well. I'm just not a big fan (NBA-wise) of either Rondo nor 'Bassy, and I most assuredly don't think: Rondo Carney Iggy C-Webb Samuel 6th Man -- Korver would win many games.

Rondo has every tool Snow has. Snow is not a great shooter and over time was able to hit open jumpers. Rondo is faster and more athletic than Snow ever was as is Telfair. Guess what, Rondo is probably faster and more athletic than Nash, Jason Kidd, and John Stockton too -- what's that worth? Eric Snow knows his role and is able to adapt it to those players around him. Rondo hasn't shown that ability. Eric Snow, in spite of his apparent lack of athleticism and speed can guard anyone. He is very cerebral, and on a team with AI (for now), you have to play smart and be able to adapt to a different type of player. Snow still can't make a shot over 15 feet with any regularity, however, again, his Basketball IQ is off the chart, he plays hard and with great heart, and he knows how to get his team-mates involved. When Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas publicly decry you as a guy that burns the shot clock pounding the ball (something EVERY UK fan has seen more than our share of), it is indicative of something. I think Rondo is in for a World Class Eye Opening experience on the next level. If I'm wrong, especially if he is red, blue, and black, I'll happily come on here and admit it. However, I hope he stays in Beantown and then I can bask in the glow of my correctness. :banana:

Once he is surronded by a high level talent on the wing again, the real Rondo will come out.

Ratliff, I have a hunch, would give his left arm to get back to Philly -- he hasn't been the same since he left. I hope the Sixers aren't making a catastrophic error trading AI and keeping C-Webb. :irked:
