Jumper_Dad Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 How would Bama drop below Oklahoma state this week, when they were at number 2? Shouldn't have been #2 to begin with, loss to 3 loss Ole Miss I would think will catch up with them and the win over LSU doesn't look as good after they got drilled this week at home. OK State undefeated and IMO right now TODAY they deserve to be there...but next two games will be tough. If they win out they are in, with games against Baylor and Oklahoma left.

Agreed if Oklahoma state wins out they are in. However Bama wouldn't be the team that they get in over, it would be Notre Dame. I'm a Notre Dame fan but they will get left out. Bama is in as long as they win out.
16thBBall Fan Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 #1- Clemson #2- Alabama #3- Ohio State #4- Notre Dame #5- Iowa #6- Okla. St. #7- Okla.

Big win by Notre Dame over Stanford and Stanford winning out by winning PAC12 would really help the Golden Domers advance, IMO. Notre Dame sitting home while everyone else is playing Conf Title games doesn't help them. OSU (the one in Ohio) has two tough games coming up, while I think they win both a loss in either I think could knock them out of the top 4...Iowa undefeated and waiting in the title game for Mich/Mich St/OSU survivor. Clemson with Wake, South Carolina and North Carolina (ACC Title game) left looks to have the easiest path...but don't sleep on UNC, they could spoil the entire thing. Alabama has Bama Killer Auburn left and a resurgent Florida (SEC Title Game) left...that would be one decent win and one good win for their resume' But I think it all plays itself out...which is great...I love this time of year for college football.
Clyde Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 If Oklahoma wins out they will get in over ND.
GrantNKY Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 My top 4 in the rankings: 1. Clemson 2. Ohio State 3. Alabama 4. Notre Dame The 4 Best Teams Right Now: 1. Oklahoma 2. Ohio State 3. Alabama 4. Clemson

Out of sight, out of mind. No way ND should get in using this criteria.
TheFauxTiger Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Alabama and the SEC is the only team and conference in the country that could have a terrible loss on the resume and still be ranked, and uses "at the time they played" ranking to justify. Perhaps Ark gets ranked this week just to strengthen their eroding resume. Don't think Oklahoma can make up the Texas loss unless other teams lose in front of them, even if the win out. Every week is different, so for this week what IMO it should be: Clemson Ohio State Oklahoma State Iowa What it will be Clemson Alabama Ohio State Notre Dame No change

How soon we forget.
UKMustangFan Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 It will be the exact same as last week. 1 - Clemson 2 - Alabama 3 - Ohio State 4 - Notre Dame
RoyalWildcat Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 1- Clemson 2- Alabama 3- Ohio State 4- Oklahoma State. The 4th spot will be interchangeable but unless Michigan or Michigan St. slip up OSU I don't see the top 3 changing. Alabama's defense is wayyyy too good for them to lose to Auburn or Florida.
