I think, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but this senior class has only lost 1 game (at all levels) to X and that was last years regular season game.

 

You would be correct sir.... But on the flipside, this Male senior class has had our number, outside of the playoff game last year

Additionally, I have no idea why Trinity would have their starters in the game late in the 4th quarter with the victory securely in hand. They have potentially 3 more big playoff games to play, and it makes no sense to me to subject those players to potential injury with nothing to gain. It does not bother or offend me, but it just makes no logical sense. Furthermore, it would seem to be a good time to get some seniors who do not regularly get to play on this stage an opportunity to get some game time as a reward the the hard work they have put into the program.

In games vs. Trinity, Male, and Cincinnati St. X, the Tigers offense failed to produce 175 yards of offense in each game.

Whoa! Just read stat on Louisville Catholic Sports that Trinity has won 11 of the past 12 against St. X. Not that I don't believe them but that's kind of wild. Didn't think it was that lopsided recently.

Stamina! The Rocks #1s need to be ready to play four quarters. Trinity took it easy by running the ball and did not push for a score late in the game.

Exactly... Trinity's starters have not played an entire 4 quarters for at least 6 games... Trying to get ready for next Friday bc they definitely will be in for 4 full quarters... And I don't recall X pulling any of their starters on offense either, just sayin

The starters played even less when you factor in the running clocks.

Why would St. X pull their starters when Trinity still has their starting D on the field? You think it was ugly with X's starters imagine X's 2nd team playing against Trinity's starters......

I don't think the Rocks mind that the Tigers' starters were still in the game. But, it makes for great stuff for one or the other to work up a great huff about in the rivalry and hold onto for years to come.

Trinity has not lost to St Xavier in the playoffs since Mike Glaser tipped his cap and waved at the Trinity sideline late in the 2009 State Championship game.

The story of the Wolford era so far has been inconsistency on offense. I do think that this offense has potential going forward, just a rough first year for it. X's D has thankfully been pretty good for them the last few seasons, but when the O isn't giving you time to rest it does get difficult.

Again, time for the experiment to come to a conclusion.

I think this X team is gonna be really really good next season, lots of key underclassman, especially the qb. Next year will be a big year for Coach W, we'll see what happens.
