It's crazy here in Danville anymore. I swear.

It really is.

Wow. Sounds like someone needs a vacation. Can't imagine how much stress a police officer is under these days.

Is this the same guy that there was a story about him assisting a kid at the fair that asked for help getting into and off of rides. Kid was in a wheelchair and he carried him off and on rides all night.

Someone said it was this guy and some one else said it wasnt.

Yes that was him. In the Facebook post it has his name in it saying it was him.

Rumors said that there was a kid on the bus today that got so scared he peed on himself.

What a sweet guy.

Again, haven't read the link and don't want to but most of us are parents, imagine how you would react if your little girl cried wolf.

For his sake I hope his little girl wasn't crying wolf. I mean she is 6 years old so I'm sure she got all the facts right when telling daddy what happened.

I didn't mean for that to be read into, sometimes when you cry wolf there surely is a wolf.

However, if it is a case of crying wolf (severely overreacting) then it needs to be a lesson to all.

Agreed.

I was looking for this thread yesterday and couldn't find it. This has been a hot button issue for some time here in Danville. Lots of rumors around what really happened when he wrecked. Now he is resigning and facing felony charges. Just a bad situation all the way around.

Still think he's a good guy that shouldn't lose his job?

No I think he's a good guy who made mistakes and will have to pay for them.

Sounds like a guy with serious maturity issues that had no business being a police officer.
