November 10, 201510 yr I have always been one who listens to ESPN radio love Mike and Mike and listen to them almost religiously in the mornings and I for one actually enjoyed Colin Cowherd. While the Dan LeBetard show, which replaced Cowherd when he went to FOX, has some funny spots such as their "looks like" segments, they leave somewhat to be desired because they tend to go on tangents about non sports topics that are simply kind of boring. Who do you all listen to your sports talk needs?
November 10, 201510 yr I skip around. I hate Mike and Mike. I like SVP DP Russelio Bomani Colin and Scott Wetzel.
November 10, 201510 yr Author I skip around. I hate Mike and Mike. I like SVP DP Russelio Bomani Colin and Scott Wetzel. How can you hate Mike and Mike?!? They are undoubtably the best sports talk show on the radio IMO.
November 10, 201510 yr 90% of them are terrible. I will listen to Jay Mohr, Colin, and Russilo. I listen to podcasts the majority of the time in the car.
November 10, 201510 yr I skip around. I hate Mike and Mike. I like SVP DP Russelio Bomani Colin and Scott Wetzel. I like Wetzel but he's a dope.
November 10, 201510 yr Driver time for me is neither. I go with Howard Stern. Bababooey. I was Howard for a Decade and just ended my subscription the show got boring. I now listen to podcasts when I drive exclusively. Bill Simmons , Adam Corolla , Bill Burr and Joe Rogan mostly.
November 10, 201510 yr 10:00 Tony Kornheiser I NEVER listen to sports talk radio, but will if Mr. Tony is on. What station?
November 10, 201510 yr I NEVER listen to sports talk radio' date=' but will if Mr. Tony is on. What station?[/quote'] ESPN Radio app. ESPN 980 out of DC.
November 10, 201510 yr Any of you guys recall the earliest days of national sportstalk radio? I remember 20 years ago working 3rd shift at a carryout in BG listening to the overnight sportstalk show (before ESPN Radio was a thing) on the main AM station there and I recall almost all the ads being sports gambling related. And a huge chunk of the programming was geared towards sharps as well.
November 10, 201510 yr I will listen to Mike and Mike because it is on in the mornings, but it doesn't excite me. Cowherd I still think is the best and I listen to him sometimes via podcast. LeBatard doesn't bother me as much as he does others. I honestly don't have as much time as I previously did listening to sports talk radio. My favorite line-up of all time from ESPN was a decade or so ago with Cowherd, Dan Patrick, followed by Erik Kuselias. All 3 were great.
November 10, 201510 yr 1. Dan Patrick a little too pampas sometimes. 2. Mike & Mike Greeny repeats his own stories too often. I miss Cowherd (arrogant) and SVP (the best) Jay Mohr - Awful.
