Actually one of the hardest catches to make as a receiver when you are running across the field full speed and the throw is behind you causing you to turn around while your momentum is going in the opposite direction. Go back and read that post again GT. It was a nearly perfect back shoulder throw for a sure first down. It was so low that after it went straight through Eifert's hands, it bounced off his shoulder pads. There was nothing bad about the throw. At all. Keep trying...
November 2, 201510 yr It's a sentiment all over the country because of twitter and 24 hour ESPN, etc. The fact is... Dalton does win and his critics still don't shut up. He won a "playoff" game on the road in Pitt in 2012... It can't be seen any other way... Winner moves on, loser goes home. He's never been on a losing team... Ever! Grade school, middle school, high school, college and now pro. That says something to me... Guy knows how to win football games. We all agree he needs to learn to win in the post season, but so does every player and coach on the team. He's a winner. I'd argue he plays above his natural ability skill set... That is a pretty cool thing about him though. Never being in a losing team is incredible it does show, he does find ways to win and I'm hoping that makes this year special.

Any high school receiver in NKY could have caught it... Right in his hands, perfect throw away from defender.

He has to be ready for a back shoulder throw for a first down from that position on the field. Is this where I end with something sarcastic about knowing the sport???

I liked how it was said that the Bengals can't hit their te's with good passes like the Steelers do. Even though Eifert is having one of the best years for a te in the league this year. So Dalton must be throwing pretty good to the TE for that to happen. Which by the way the announcers sucked today. That ball should have easily been caught today by Eifert and I think he would say that himself.

Do you know how it is when a receiver takes 4 steps? It's not like he just came out of his cut and the ball was there. 4 steps is a lot my friend when coming out of your cut. Anyway I'm not going to argue over one okay with you, it's stupid. I already showed where you couldn't even quote my post correctly and conviently left out the fact that the first sentence of my post states "He should have caught the pass". I understand that doesn't fit into your ridiculous post but same as FC did, you also like to leave out facts and go with your own stories. So with that I bid you a good night. That was a game update thread which was describing what was happening in the game. You know the several other passes that were bad throws to te's Wow. Again if you don't post in he thread then don't bother commenting on it because you have no clue what was going in at the time. And again I SAID HE SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT ALSO. Is it too complicated to actually read the posts that you keep commenting on? That does t make it a "great pass" and as Eifert would say he should have caught it I bet if you ask Dalton he would also admit he could have thrown it better too.
November 2, 201510 yr An outside receiver running an inside route to the sticks on 3rd down has to be ready for the back shoulder throw if the defender is on the inside. Throw it inside and miss by 6 inches and it's a pick. He should have caught it because it was a great throw for a first down. Not inspite of the poor pass that didn't occur.
