Marvin Lewis is what he is and that is...

Featured Replies

The absolute worst coach at preparing a team coming out of a bye week or preparing a team against a good team.

Even if the Bengals win today he is the absolute worst at preparing a team when he has more than a week to do so.

That's the first thing I said to my wife is that Marvin had way too much time to prepare.

Or maybe it's an intra division game against a good team on the road??

Not when they lose L Bell and Ben can't move in the pocket does it mean it's a divisional game. That was horrible coaching period. No way that game should have come down to the last play.

Hue Jackson should thank his lucky stars today. When he had Hill avg'ing over 7 yds a carry in the first half and only give him the ball a couple times is bad coaching.

And that is... the head coach of one if the best teams in the NFL. The complaining about this team is absurd.

Not complaining about the team. Complaining about the coaches inability to prepare a team for a game when you have 2 weeks to do so.

Same complaint every year. Team is fine, coaching is questionable.

Well its mainly the same one who has for years. People seem to focus more on the negative than seeing that this is the NFL. Won't always look pretty, good teams find ways to win games like this and we did.

Marvin definitely has many flaws but he also has done some things well. I will agree with grey fox though that they should have ran the ball more.

Seems like Pittsburgh fans have much more room to gripe. Tomlins time management was atrocious

I agree.

I'll gladly take the win on the road against Pittsburgh. Be happy Bengals fans, they are 7-0 for the first time ever.

Marvin didn't hold when they had great field position.

7-0, with a road win against the most successful franchise in the history of the NFL and your division rival. Tough crowd. :speechless:

Totally agree. In the first half Hill averaged almost 10 yards a carry and got three carries? What? Also, I don't want to see an offensive lineman line up as a wide receiver again. Stop that insanity.

I think Hue is a great offensive coordinator but sometimes, like many other offensive coordinators, he wants to show creative and innovative he is. I get that but lining up 300 lb linemen as receivers multiple times is not good.

Still a great win on the road for the Bengals. Defense played great to overcome a totally inept offense; also good to see Burfict back...an ugly win but a win nonetheless...
