It's too bad KY didn't have Woodson or Burke playing. Congrats too all of the people involved and it sounds like they once again made the state proud with their showing. I worried about the offense a little this year but felt like the defense would be solid. How did Jones do?

Pretty disappointing showing for the KY All-Stars. Ky had 15 D1 players for the game and Tennessee had 2! This KY team looked a step slow all night against what looked to be a quicker TN team.

Just saw a few highlights on Lex. and Lou. TV stations. Couldn't tell much from those, except that the Ky. turnovers were ugly. And there was a clear view of the Guru and his camera in the background on one of the plays.

 

I read the AP story, which said QB Brian Anderson fumbled and threw an interception in the last three minutes and change. Warford had the only Ky. TD on an 11-play, 80-yard drive in the 2nd quarter. K.J. Black came in at QB after that, but Tenn. shut down his runs. Tenn. didn't score until the 2nd half.

Kentuckys offense with the exception of one TD drive was very ineffective all night. Both QB's had trouble hanging on to the ball. The center QB exchange with both QB's either under or in the gun was a big problem. There was around 8 or more time that a play was killed because of this. Tennessee's D line gave Kentucky fits and QB's didn't have much time to throw. Kentucky's reciever's were open all night and for various reasons couldn't get the ball. Tennesse didn't have any one who could cover Chaffin or Tamme both of these guys were open mulitple times but didn't get the ball thrown their thier way. Ben Guidugli looked great and made many big plays in the first half. Ky defense was really good until late and the offense really put them in bad positions. Minton, Peters and Johnson looked good but Smith from NCC and Hall from Tilghman looked great to me. All of Ky's DB's were awesome I think Tenn only complete 2 passes and 1 was for neg. yds. Ky should be proud but this is a game that they let slip away by mulitple mistakes. Tenn won but KY certianly gifted wrapped it for them. I am proud of all the kids they played hard and represented KY well.
