Seriously though- terrific talent. Does things with the ball in his hands that very few can. Will be fun to watch he and this group grow over the next few years.

 

Good ingredients in this class. Terrific line- best among N Ky Frosh IMO.

 

This group didn't even play with Coldiron this year due to an injury and that young man could have made as big an impact as McGinness in different facets of the game.

The Colonels need to build more ayers around Mcginnis. He is a one man wrecking crew but as he gets older it will get tougher to put up those numbers. He is by far the best frosh in NKY.

Beechwood. The score was 14-12

There is a freshman at Beechwood who might have something to say about that. He starts on the varsity and has several touchdowns this year. He has returned a punt for a TD, has had an interception for a TD and has also caught passes for TD's. Also was pretty strong as an 8th grader on the freshman team last year.

Not going to argue that there are other great players, but the younger McGinness would be doing the exact same thing and maybe more if he were playing on Beechwoods Varsity instead of Cov Cath's Freshman team.

Not going to argue that and Casey is a great player and athlete, just saying that Logan Castleman is just as good in my opinion. And the Beechwood freshman team was the only team who could hold Casey in check this year. He had a great year. Maybe they should move him up for the playoffs.

McGinness is a special player and fun to watch. Work hard and stay humble, young man and good things will continue to happen for you.
