Not going to argue that there are other great players, but the younger McGinness would be doing the exact same thing and maybe more if he were playing on Beechwoods Varsity instead of Cov Cath's Freshman team.

 

I would add that they are definitely 1 and 2. IMO, had Logan played Freshman ball this year, McGinness would still have appeared to look better and have better stats. Beechwood had several boys to get the ball to and CCH only a couple. This is not a knock on CCH... just the opposite. They are very good at every position. However, when Casey is not in the game CCH is a totally different team. When Beechwood had a player out, or hypothetically if Logan played and sat out, BW would still look the same... or not a significant drop off. Again, IMO.

What I'm saying is that Casey should come to Beechwood. lol

McGinness is a great freshman player. He is one of those players that an opposing team's fans hold their breath every time he touches the ball until he is tackled. Beechwood is the only team that contained him this year and that is why the Tigers won that game versus Cov Cath.

He should be wearing the Blue and White, but not the Colonel blue and white. If only those parents had pulled the trigger years ago. Keep working hard young man.
