He played all of his youth football with the Red Devils.

Additionally a Jack Swagger look alike (WWE reference) from Highlands and a mountain man from Campbell County had words a couple of times in the stands right next to me.

 

My money was on the mountain man until Swagger called in reinforcements.

Lol....Yes he is homegrown. His oldest brother wore #10 and played Middle LB on the 2010 State Team and his other brother is a Soph D Lineman for the Birds this year. Brycen Huddleston will leave a Major Mark on the Highlands program before he is done.

Nice try....He is home grown talent. I went to school with both their parents at Highlands and they have raised all 3 boys in Ft Thomas from Birth. What else you looking for?

Congrats to Coach Mason and the Camels on the Cake Eater Win!!!! The 8th grade is a very athletic group coming up, not Big by far, but with the mix when they get to Varsity will very interesting :thumb:

Just a fun game to watch last night. Both teams are extremely talented. Great crowd atmosphere for a frosh game. #15 for CC had a great game defensively, sorry don't know his name and #19 for Highlands had a ton of tackles. Both teams have a bright future when these kids move up to varsity. I agree on the poor call on the late hit and no debating the Highlands penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct were warranted. I love the intensity of the players for Highlands but emotion needs to be controlled. These penalties have hurt the team all year.

Both teams have some real studs. Highlands QB is excellent, #45 from Highlands is a stud (but needs to play within himself), and Highlands had another RB that was a stud but I don't remember the number.

 

For Campbell their QB has a big future ahead of him if he continues to grow and improve. He is very gifted both throwing and running the ball. 37 a LB from Campbell is an absolute animal. He plays like a LB should play. Campbell had two or three other excellent Freshmen football players.

 

The only knock I see with Highlands team is a lack of size up front but that is not much different than usual.

 

For Campbell, the talent is unreal, the coaching leaves a lot to be desired. As good as Highlands is, a well coached Campbell team would drill them.

 

And Coach Lickert, you need to make sure that group gets plenty of your personal attention from this point forward. If you don't win big with that group you should definitely be fired.

Every where Coach Lickert has been he's been a positive influence on the field and most certainly off the field. From Dayton to Covington and out to the county they've all been very impressed with everything he does.

Fun game to watch. Like others stated, we were shocked CC kept throwing the ball when they could have run the clock out by keeping the ball on the ground. Difference in game was size of CC line, penalties by HHS and very poor tackling by HHS (how many missed tackles in back field all night long!). Was told that certain HHS player has had issue w/PF's all year, very costly last night. Would think the coaches would put a stop to it in Fresh ball, only going to get worse at V level if they let it continue.

Like others have stated, #41, #45, #7, the young man w/tip and int., all impressive as well as the Kicker.
