I said at least 3 scores but I wasn't expecting a running clock.

I think so too.

SW kept it close for a while but hearing the score at the half we all knew sitting in the stands across town that it was over and could get ugly.

 

Afterwards the Radio guys were talking about some injuries but I didn't catch the names, I hope no one is out for any length of time from either team.

 

I still think these two will meet for the Region Title in a few weeks.

I called running clock. SW not in same league with Pulaski. Sounds like you guys think season is over and mail trophy to Pulaski. Guess we need to turn in equipment next week.

Hall for Pulaski hurt his shoulder. It was reported on the news. Not sure on the severity of the injury though.

It was a running clock midway thru the 3rd qtr. Riley Hall went out with a shoulder injury and George Gregory went out with a neck injury after being speared while on the ground. Both should be fine and ready for playoffs. PC just methodically dismantled the Warriors from the beginning. SW's vaunted run defense was gashed by the Maroons all night. Even after Hall went down and SW knew the run was coming, they could not stop the PC ground game. If there was any, there is no doubt now, that Pulaski is the better team.

Not really. I want BG to win it all as much as the next Purple and will always root for BG to win. As long as things stay as they are the common thought amongst Purple fans is that folks better beat BG this season. I think Pulaski has a decidedly easier road to the finals and a battle tested team that has so many experienced seniors on it that they are the favorite for 5A and should be considered the favorite to win it all in 5A this season. Just because I am saying all season that Pulaski is the best team in 5A and will win the state championship doesn't mean that I hope I am right. You must keep in mind I have also been saying that if BG wins state this year and things stay as they are then BG will go on another run at the winning streak record.

 

Don't get it twisted now.

Funny... Pride has made a new batch of Maroon kool-aid. Well deserved, as this is the best group ever to come through Pulaski... Correct?

I'm not, I know where you allegiance lies...P88 was just commenting that everyone was giving Pulaski the title already and they might as well pack up their pads, I was just letting him know that it was you beating that drum in the thread not Pulaski fans...that's all!

Not entirely true. I've been beating the Pulaski County should be #1 in 5A drum and I've been beating the Pulaski County is way better than Southwestern drum along with the Pulaski County is better than people think drum. Yesterday was the first time I said I think they will win state and that was in reply to @thunder1 who is the one who said it first in this thread. My reply was "I think so too."
