Volume back. LCA won, probably shouldn't have but did. You'll see speed Friday, and not just out of the backfield. Danville's interior 7 is fast and physical. Lot of respect for the Ads as much as it pains me to say that.

 

I dont agree with the comment LCA shouldn't won. Actually should have won by a much large margin. They let penalties extend drives 3 times and bobble a punt that should have just left it alone. LCA should have won by 21.

LCA has more options than Wheatley. I've watched Danville play three times and the front seven is good, but I've seen some weakness in the secondary. I'm sure LCA coach knows how to attack, and where there weakness is. I think Wheatley will get 150+ on the ground easily, nobody has stopped him all year, and I dont see the Ads doing it either. Looking at Danville's schedule, they haven't really beat anyone good except Corbin. I think they might be a little overrated, and getting too much hype.

The same can be said for LCA their schedule is weaker than Danvilles.

Penalties are part of the game. Jumpers had a huge one late as well that cost them field position and 2 plays later the nail in the coffin score. As a jumper fan if we didn't have two turnovers it's a 21-14 ball game maybe 28-14 in Somersets favor at halftime... Once again these are all part of the game. High school teams rarely play completely clean, those that do are usually very successful.

 

As for the poster that said Wheatley will have 150+ he may very well do that but it will be off 53 carries. Danvilles biggest weakness is their secondary play and even that's gotten better.

Not this guy. I hate Danville with a passion, but having seen both the Ads are far and away better than LCA.

The way the stats appear, LCA seems to have a defensive problem. Particularly vs the pass. Should be a dandy for the Admiral passing attack.

Pretty sure they won't have to get 50. No one has scored 50 on them and since Boyle game no one has scored on starting defense.

 

Did they have their JV defense in the game vs Somerset in the 1st half? It was a 14-7 game for a good portion of the 1st half?

LCA hasn't beaten anyone good...Also shutting Corbin out, at Corbin is super impressive. Danvilles Defense is for real.

Only chance LCA has if the can successfully throw the football some. If the just try to line up and run the ball at Danville they have know shot.

Danville. LCA doesn't have the speed offensively to do any damage to The ads. I've seen both, Danville is much better. LCA doesn't beat Somerset last Friday if Doan was healthy... Not enough speed to compete.

LCA sure had enough speed to damage the bunnies! No one has mentioned that LCA played without Clay Ach who is their best defensive player and starting offensive lineman. He creates a lot of havoc for offenses and things could have been much worse for Somerset had he played.
