If he has a good showing against Florida he'll be in NYC. I hate that I never hear his name in the discussion though so you may be right.

All you hear about is Henry and Fournette. And not to take anything away from them, but, number don't lie. Cook is the best back in the country due to him being a complete back. But it is what it is. He can just destroy college football again next year and win the Heisman then.

Cook is the 2nd best all around back in the country. Zeke is the best. Fantastic runner obviously, has great hands, and this will never show up anywhere, but he has still yet to miss a blocking assignment. Zeke is the most unselfish super star in college football, he springs big runs for JT all the time and he is always downfield blocking for the receivers. These are the things that go unnoticed, but they are what make Zeke, Zeke.

FSU Cook had 138 yards 2 tds with a sprained ankle.

Cook also passed Warrick Dunns single game rushing record I believe.

Should all be running backs this year. Elliott, Henry, Cook (who doesn't get enough credit for the monster he is) are the top 3 on my list.

If JT Barrett starts all year he could be the front runner.

Deservedly so, but the vendetta against FSU will keep him out.

Vendetta?

What do you know. Another defense with a pulse and another sub par night for the anointed one. Way too many October heismans given out every year. I would say Henry is the front runner, followed by Cook and Elliot in no particular order. The QB from Oklahoma had a big night on a national stage last night, he may get into the mix.

Vendetta?

Maybe I should have used hatred? Dislike? Whatever word you would like. In other words, Cook won't be in New York for the Heisman because he plays at FSU and the media and voters dislike anything from there.

Winston won the Heisman 2 years ago.

Winston won the Heisman 2 years ago.

Indeed he did, but that was in the Pre-Hate era. Since that day, the ONLY time the media discusses FSU is when something negative happens. How often do you hear anybody mention Dalvin Cook? Anytime FSU is talked about they always find way to bring up the Winston issues and anything else. They spoke more about Cook's arrest before the season than they've talked about him now.

In no certain order, except for #1 (right now)

1. D. Watson ..... Clemson

D. Henry .....Alabama

Elliot ...... Ohio State

All others would be below these three.....imo

I can tell that this thread was stated Early on. L. Fournette imo is like LSU - Exposed and out of the race.

btw, I would also add Cooper at FSU on my possibles, not probable.

Do you watch ESPN? They said Cook was the best back in college football this morning.

I've gotten away from ESPN. But if thats the case, then maybe they don't dislike FSU anymore. Good to know they are seeing it.
