McCaffrey scored well in the southeast. Where he lost most ground was in the mid-Atlantic.

The gap between Watson and Mayfield was huge.

I am not sure when this poll was started but the top 4 listed on the poll, none of them finished in the top 5.

1. Henry 2. McCaffrey 3. Watson 4. Mayfield 5. Reynolds 6. Fournette 7. Davin Cook 8. Elliott 9. Connor Cook 10. Boykin

Henry deserved this award. Kid is a beast. SEC reps 4/7 Heisman Trophies.

Amazed at the lack of respect for Dalvin Cook. Amazed.....

Wonder what they'll say next year when he puts up even better numbers.

Could it have anything to do with his off the field issue he had earlier this year?

I don't think so. If that were the case, how in the hell was Johnny Manziel invited back to NY after his antics? The media adopts favorites in the preseason and as the season progresses. Winning is ultimately the most rewarding stat.

Absolutely not. It has everything to do with everybody in love with Henry. I do think he was worthy of the award, however, I also thought Cook should have been next in line.

I honestly don't know. I just don't get how they can look at the numbers and not invite him to NYC. I don't get that at all.

I agree he is at least worthy of an invite. With only inviting three though it is tough. Didn't they used to invite like 5 or 6 guys just a few years ago?

Seems like it but looking at the final numbers I think he came in 7th so he wouldn't have gotten an invite anyways.

I guess we'll see how he does next year.

Who they invite is dependent upon how many votes players receive. They have a 3 person minimum. It has nothing to do with how many they want to invite.

I believe only 3 were invited because of huge drop off from 3rd to 4th.

Exactly. Once they hit a certain percentage they are invited.
