WWE Partners with ESPN

Sounds like a win for both.

"ESPN will be doing a weekly segment on SportsCenter recapping the Week In WWE."

Are you kidding me?

WWE's Growing Partnership with ESPN a Great Chance to Boost Sagging Raw Ratings | Bleacher Report

=======================

This is a huge win for WWE but for ESPN what the heck are they doing. They look more like a "news magazine" when they do this kind of thing.

They don't even look like a news magazine. They look like the corporate sports mouthpiece that they are.

It's such a mystery why Raw's ratings would be sagging. Rest assured it has absolutely nothing to do with adding an additional hour to what was already a thin product thanks to Smackdown. They learned very little from WCW.

As for this, pure stupidity by ESPN.

Didn't ESPN always have wrestling? Steven A. Smith vs. Skip Bayless? Well, verbal at least.

What's next in this free-fall? Weekly poker night?

Saturday Afternoon Cornhole Game of the Week.

Maybe ESPN will start breaking down other fictional dramas such as "Days of our Lives" or "NCIS" on Sportscenter.

Too late. They've been in bed with poker for quite sometime now. A bunch of overpriced mancave poker tournaments on TV that they call the World Series of Poker. :lol2:

At least Poker isn't predetermined.

I love the WWE but I don't see how a sports network can "report" on events with predetermined outcomes.

Need to start showing Men's slow pitch softball.

First being a walking DraftKings commercial and now getting in bed with the WWE. ESPN has jumped the shark.
