Key words "moved to Latonia" no one is moving there.

Classy post. A lot of good people in Latonia.

I took that literally and not as a slight on LA. Chill out

I never said Latonia was a bad place to live and I know quite of few people who live there and are great people. If you read it wrong that's on you but I will explain it better for you to understand. I meant all the ones that are transferring in aren't moving to Latonia they are staying put in there Ft. Thomas and Kenton County homes.

I just really have nothing to contribute to this thread....If I did it might come off to having an agenda or an Axe to grind.:D

Zero.

Well in this thread, I was playing very nice until someone jumped on me. And even then, I didn't say anything bad about anyone on the team. I actually complimented them. You HC folks think that I only go to your thread. That's not the case. I'm on many others in the girls bball forum and I speak my honest opinion. Sometimes it's good and sometimes I point out opportunities. The difference is, some of the HC folks just don't like my honest opinion. The fans from other schools tend to discuss it.

The facts are...HC lost A LOT! And only time will tell how good they will be. Things will be great as long as they win. But what happens when they lose to a couple to teams they weren't used to losing to. I'm sure their confidence is high being the defending state champions, but things won't come as easy this year. If they overcome that mental part (when the waves get a little rocky), they they have a chance to compete with all the teams. If they can't overcome that, they could have a very mediocre year. They are going to struggle to score against good team. That will be true. You can tell me all you want. I've been watching most of those kids for a long time. They are good, but they are not kids that lead their teams with scoring. Yes they have some tough, gritty kids that love to battle and I'd take them on my team any day. But that doesn't mean they can score when all the focus is on them. Teams aren't going to let them speed up the game like a Holmes team can. They just don't have enough to do that. They aren't going to be able to sit back in a zone, because they will need to score off their defense and they won't have the experienced bigs to do that with. It will be a completely different year than the past 3 years. If they can stay together and not lose confidences when losses come, they will be okay and can compete. This year's 9th is very balanced and anyone can step up a night or two and do some damage. I do think there are 3 top teams, but they can't sleep on anyone in the top 10 on any night.

The NKY contingent are truly the definition of a fanatic (fan). Who would've thought this much would be discussed about girls basketball?
