'State Champion" is an extremely exclusive and lofty title to hold in Kentucky high school basketball - girls or boys! All credit to Holy Cross for beating the team that "couldn't be beat" last year and finishing out the Sweet 16 on top! A lot of that team moved on, including a D1 and D2 player which hurts, but I expect the Lady Indians to come back strong with some talented returning players and a proven coach.
