The line, "getting this kid eligible is going to be a jigsaw puzzle" is as common as it gets. This, sadly, is the new norm. October 16, 201510 yr Just from what I can gather it seems the former AAU coach and the Memphis people are doing their best to see that they can cause Skal as many problems as possible. I suppose his not signing with Memphis has left some hard feelings.

Think it has more to do with the fact that Skal came from Memphis, was very much considered a Memphis lean early on and ultimately shunned some folks along the way by choosing UK. Possibly including people that were looking out for their own well being ahead of Skal's. IMO that's what's frustrating about this. I've like just about everything I've heard from or about Skal with the exception of how a lot of people saw him as an opportunity just about as fast as he became recognized.
