I don't hate the SEC. I enjoy a few of the teams and I am a UK football fan. I do think the SEC is overrated these past couple of years. Best conference? Yes. Worthy of still being placed on a pedestal? Not at all.
October 6, 201510 yr Besides Ohio State for some reason I have always disliked Purdue. Which is kind of fun since they are always bad and I always enjoy them getting beaten down. I mean they were always on the ND schedule and they were never much of a threat. Come to think about it must have been the QB's because Jim "Chrissy" Everett and Mark Herrman and Kyle Orton are three of my least favorite NFL quarter backs all having played at Purdue. And of course the Jeff George debacle where he left Purdue was classic....Of course I think he might be one of my least favorite ever NFL guys and so I pin him on Purdue.
October 6, 201510 yr Florida St. and USC...Back in the day, it was Miami, no question. However, their fan support and home-field advantage is so pitiful now, it almost makes me sad. It was always great to have a "villain" in college football, kind of like when the Soviet Union fell apart, the Olympics became just a little bit less exciting to watch.
