I believe that GRC will pick up 1 or 2 victories before the season is over.

Mason County should get a win on senior night against West Union (OH) and maybe an upset of one of the upcoming district foes

Frankfort should get a victory. I watched them scrimmage GRC in August and they are a talented bunch.

In 6A, Campbell County and Boone County play each other in their district so one of them will win.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if this ended in a tie.

Definitely not against Lafayette, but I'd give GRC even odds to win in each of their last three games.

There are some surprising teams on that list.

I'd like to say Campbell County, but I really can't be sure.

I know Seneca has to play J'town - which I have not seen but they're not great - but I would be really surprised if Seneca wins a game.

 

That program went downhill and fast! Just happened to see a film clip and they had trouble even snapping the ball. Pretty sad.

The game between Campbell and Boone could go either way. Still weird to see Boone struggle so badly.

Teams I know a little about:

Logan County: Loss by 1 last week to Hopkins County Central; Only remaining winnable game is Oct 30 vs Todd County Central.

Hancock County: Have been close twice; Have 2 winnable games left Oct 23 vs McLean Co and Oct 30 vs Breckinridge County

Fulton County: Really hasn't been very close any games this year, but oddly gets a Oct 30 Rematch against cross town foe Fulton City who only beat them 38-28 earlier this year.

Frankfort, Robinson or no will end its streak Friday night. They have been in all but two of their games

Frankfort will win Friday. And has the talent to win the next 3 and the district crown. The issue will be if the coaching staff can rally the kids.

Cross-county, but that's okay!

 

I think Fulton County and Fulton City have a hard time finding opponents because they are so small. They typically have several Tennessee and/or Missouri/Illinois teams on their schedule. I think playing twice is good for both of their programs. I'm sure if gives both a nice home gate.

I was thinking about that recently. Frankfort is obviously struggling, but that district isn't great. Is a district title still realistic?
