A lot of beef on both sides, it's going to come down to the running game and who has the strongest line!

I think Ryle is getting to much credit for a weak schedule. If you look at the stats Ryle has scored 267 points and given up 100. The average for 6 games is 46 for and 17 against. If you take away the 3 games vs winless teams it's 94 scored and 76 against. The average drops to 31 points scored and 25 given up. I did the same for Cooper but only dropped Campbell County since that is the only winless team they have played.

Cooper has scored 177 and given up 89 which breaks down to 25.3 scored and 13 given up per game. If you drop the Campbell County stats it's 142 for and 82 against which makes the average 24 points for and 14 against. These teams are very close and to date Cooper has played a tougher schedule. The good thing is this will be settled on the field and not in this forum.

Your out of your eggshell.

Coopers schedule thus far:

HHS 37-13 only won 1 game

NCC 35-0 without their best player won two games and is a 2a school

Bryan Station 0-36 lost in a blowout station is 5-2

Campbell County 35-7 winless

Simon Kenton 7-26 lost sk is 6-0

Lex Cath 28-0 without their QB. 3 win team

Dixie 35-7 1 win team.

so 5 wins against teams that have won a combined total of 7 wins and lost twice to the only schools with winning records. That's not setting the world on fire. Your point spread is flawed 1 win teams aren't much better. Heck let's only count the games we want so that we can make the numbers fit our argument. Fact is we have scored 267 and gave up 100 in games against 6a schools and are 6-0. Cooper has played a 5a and and a 2a school and scored 177 and given up 89. Their offense has been throw it up and pray Hendrix can make a play and a some Armstrong. Our D is good too and you will see that Fri night. Too much credit, man we are 6-0 your credit ain't no good here. Truth is Cooper looks over-hyped to me.

A little over hyped, but...

their D line is good and moves laterally very well.

Brown tends to make good things happen and is very mobile

Keller twins are as good as advertised, but.....

Ryle by 2-3 scores. Ryle offense does not have a weakness. O line is unknown but functional. Running Backs are the best in NKY. QB is the best in NKY and can run.

D is bend and not break. Attack from the edges.

Ryle by 2 scores

Strength of schedule per calpreps.com:

Ryle ......... 8.6 .... #30 in 6A

Cooper ... 22.1 ... #17 in 6A

Ryle has a lot of depth. Both teams have a lot of talent but Ryle is much deeper and Cooper's 2-way guys will wear out themselves.

Fact is your facts are wrong. You've played a 3A and 2 5A, not all 6A as your post suggests.

Youre right overlooked that.

That's too high with three losses to sameclass teams.

I think it just as ridiculous to award a high rank for wins against multiple teams with zero wins.

Wow there are only 32 teams in 6a.

Over Hyped? I don't think so. Actually something that always bothers me about fans is the fact that they use excuses when talking about other teams.

I'm not talking soley about your post my friend, but every teams fans tend to do the same.

First off Ryle hasn't played all 6A schools

As they also haven't played great teams either. They are 6-0 and even in my rankings for the time being are #2 and Cooper #3 and that is because they are 6-0 and no other reason. You did however say that Cooper just throws the ball up and hopes Hendrix can make a play. Is that how you describe Ryles passing game? I mean seriously, I know you know the game better than that. When someone pushes your button there really isn't a reason to make comments like that that do nothing but belittle what a program has done this year. You are better than that. Don't belittle Cooper's offense with cracks like that, we won't do it to Ryle by saying something stupid like all Ryle can do is run 3 backs rotating because none of them can last an entire game. You know that would be a stupid statement to make also.

Now back to the competition. You do understand that it's ok to admit if another team has played a tougher schedule don't you? I mean in the end what does it matter? As long as your team ends up on top who cares if you played an easier schedule to get there? Cov Cath played a tougher schedule than us all. I don't see them up in here bragging how good they are.

Now this is directed to everyone in every fan base. Quit qualifying your teams greatness by trying to belittle your rivals wins by saying garbage like "You beat so and so without their QB" or "Without their RB" etc. who cares? Take the lex Cath game, wouldn't have made a difference at all. Every team has players hurt. If Cooper loses you won't hear me saying it was because TCA wasn't 100% etc. Cooper lost 2 games to teams that are pretty good and we aren't crying over it. Now when talkin about how great one team is and how bad our team is, people may need to cool their jets some and look at the powerful 6-0 team and the games they played. Lex Cath they were behind most of the game, I watched it on the stream which was HD and awesome I might add, the same team was shutout against Cooper. CCH has 1 win and just like the LC game Ryle only won by 7. So let's not talk about how great one team is compared to the other in this matchup Fri Night. It's no secret what Ryles secret is. It isn't that their defense is so great in the 2nd half which I've heard. That has nothing to do with it at all because the defense is the same. What their strength is is their 3 RBs wear down defenses and by the 2nd half is when they have exploited that. No big secret. Just fact.

So let's not belittle any team here. Both teams in Union are among the best in NKY and that is something to be proud of.

Calpreps doesn't know the kids, doesn't watch film, had us picked to lose more than once that didn't happen.

Who ever has the least turnovers will win this game.
