Just curious where you got those scores? Ryle vs Lex Catholic was 31-24 and vs Cooper, they put up 28-0 vs Lex Cath.

I think it is just simple rounding.

A touchdown here or there, why let the stats get in the way of a good story?

:thumb: cause 50+ is no where near 31 pts and neither as 35+ compares to 28. Ryle beat Highlands 60+, Is that fair assessment? NO LOL

Cooper won't change much or try to disguise anything, that's just not what they do.

Cooper's 4-3(Occasional 3-4) defense has the OLB's wider than their DE's and if you are going to try and hit quick stuff to the slot you better see them and read them correctly. Their OLB's hole drop and make a lot of plays on the ball that most teams don't. Also, they eat bubble screens up and make it look easy.

When you watch Cooper and see how they are lined up pre-snap(same look every play) everyone thinks they can just throw bubble screens all day long. But after a couple of those quick bubbles are completed and the coach sees he only gets a couple of yards or so, the head scratching starts.

Facing a spread passing team is nothing new to Cooper. They see Conner every year and Conner's passing game is more sophisticated than Ryle's.

LOL, how's Cooper's def do against Bryan Station's spread? OOOPPPsss!

BTW, Ryle's passing game is every bit as good as BS, if not better. A BIG L is coming for the Jags on Friday, no doubt about it! :dancingpa

No, he is not and no, it wouldn't have made a difference.

That couldn't be farther from the truth. There is a big difference and and a huge drop off in QB play in HS when a D1 Qb goes down and the second team guy comes in. So they have two D1 guys and there is no chance the #1 guy makes plays that the second string guy didn't? That bull doesn't float with QB's sorry. It made a difference.

Prediction: Very few fans of either team will actually post why they will win. The majority will just continue to try and degrade the other team.

Which is counter-productive. If the other team is as bad as some would like you to believe, your win means a lot less.

Yep, but they are playing Ryle.

Outside of maybe Morgan and that is a big maybe, name a skill player from Ryle that starts for Bryan Station.

Love it, careers over but you have to keep that dead ball personal foul streak going...

The bigger question is which skilled players for Cooper would start for Ryle? # 8 might.

Love it, career that never was, but have to play your flute once in a while, to keep in touch with the band! ( LOL) :thumb:

I am not floating anything. The back up came off the bench and went 14/18 in the win over CCH.

Unless I am missing something, LC doesnt have one D1 qb. Maybe there is an offer out there I am not aware of for Legend.

Obviously none of them can...

Awesome, band comment...I will steal that and take credit for it!!:thumb::lol2:

His dad coaches for UK, he'll get free tuition and I believe already has a roster spot. No official offer required.

I am aware of his father and where he is currently coaching. Are you saying that is why he has not received any offers yet?

Clearly your best post to date, Double D! Well Done! :thumb:

OK, let's get down to business with score predictions: I'll start,

Ryle 35

Cooper 20

then on to the game of the year, Ryle vs. SK for all the marbles.
