Cooper gave up 170 rushing yards to Dixie last week, that's flat out BAD! Ryle by 2 TD's

Cooper gave up -1 rushing yards to Lex Cath, how many did Ryle give up? I will tell you, Ryle gave up 105 yards rushing to Lex Cath! That is BAD!

Jones avg'd over 5 yards a carry against Ryle

Jones avg'd less than a yd a carry against Cooper

You want to talk about pass defesne against Lex Cath for both teams?

Ryle gave up 381 yards passing while Cooper only gave up 83 yards passing.

You seriously should do your research before trying to belittle a team that performed much better defensively against a common opponent when trying to bash the teams defense.

I also would like to report that the big guy who wanted to bet me in open forum ran like a schoolgirl when he was presented an offer thru pm

No surprise there though.

Dixie's strength is rushing so 170 isn't a bad number. On top of that, Cooper only allowed 56 yards passing. 226 isn't a lot of yards in a 35-7 game when I'm sure Cooper put some backups in late.

^^ That's without their 2 starting O-line and their QB. So as a defensive coordinator, I will load the box to stop the run, which Cooper did an outstanding. And with a back up QB, they couldn't get their offense revved up. Just saying. Ryle played Lex Cath while in full strength and Cooper with tons of starter.... Important starters.

6 turnovers not including the GRC game.

Still can only account for three, care to elaborate.

KHSAA has Morgan INTs in the CCH, Lex Cath and Boone County games. They also have Ohara with an INT against Campbell. That's 4.

I don't see where they have fumbles listed.

Still with the excuses.

You really want to go there? Ryle gave up 112 rushing yards to a GRC team that has not won a game yet. That is flat out BAD!!!! Cooper by 97 TD's! :thumb:

So your telling me when Cooper's QB went out for a few series due to an ankle/ knee vs Lex Cath... Cooper was moving the ball with a back up? I think NOT, so it's not an excuse, when you don't have your better player, the wheels on the wagon doesn't move as smooth. And yes once he re-entered the game, Cooper we're a well oiled machine... Right?

Actually you are wrong. I take it you meant to say when Armststrong (TCA) went out, did Cooper move the ball as good with his backup? Actually they did, actually his backup rushed for more yards than TCA did against Lex Cath. Jackson rushed for 84 yards compared to TCA's 74 yards. Also Jackson scored a TD, TCA didn't.

2 fumbles, O'hara was during jv action in a varsity game, Lex Cath was a hail mary. We have 12 takeaways. We're doing just fine.

I don't know names so I'll just refer them as starting QB and back up. So your telling me that Cooper scored all their 28 point all in the 2nd qrt, all passing TD I believe with the back up QB???

I will tell you I don't really see a difference in LexCath 1st team Qb and 2nd team Qb, as far as effectiveness. One has bigger arm the other makes quicker decisions.

So 4 + 2 = 6. Whether you personally can account for only 3 turnovers, they have had 6. And you can try to justify the turnovers all you want, I didn't see an asterisk next to any of them saying they don't count.

They are on the books but if you think for one second that a last second hail mary at the end of a half or a jv qb throwing a pick in a blowout concerns us or give someone the advantage you are mistaken. How about the fact we have forced 12 to's? That means nothing only the six we lost even though we are +6 ? All teams turn the ball over occasionally. We dont have a to problem. We have a takeaway advantage.

I see ignorance has found its way to South Union. Can you wanna be players or little kids (which ever one suits you) please get over your over hyped egos and let these boys (the actual players) decide the game outcome on Friday night. It's OK to make predictions, but when you start degrading a program or kids in a program, you fall to to the bottom of the barrel in respect from me. I can't stop laughing at some of the idiotic comments and excuses that come from a couple of you. It's like you're talking, but can't even hear what you're saying. Straight COMEDY!!!!

As there are kids on both teams that I have coached in the past, I just hope for competitive/healthy game with the better team on THIS Friday night being the victor.
