I would agree with most of your post however, Cooper looks like they have one or two players that only score (I could be wrong) Odds are you can shut at least one of them down. The other in no way can put up the points they will need against Ryle. Ryle has triple that number that can score...I'm thinking Ryle just has too many weapons for Cooper as I see it. Two platoons are going to wear them down.

True Ryle has a lot of kids that can score, but the thing is all those kids can't play at the same time so it really doesn't matter to Cooper I would think. They aren't going to change their philosophy because of kids subbing in and out. Cooper has 7 Players who have scored TD's on offense, I doubt Ryle has 21 kids that have scored TD's on offense. Cooper has 9 receivers that have receptions this year with 3 others other than Hendrix who have caught TD passes. Cooper has 6 different players that have rushed for Cooper with close to 400 yards rushing not including TCA or his yards. So I am really hoping Ryle does just key on 1 of the only 2 offensive players on Cooper that is a threat. ;)

The heck are you talking dude? I myself never ever said anything about LC could have beaten Cooper OK. I am just piggy backing on Ryle's fan comparing their victory vs. Lex Cath to Cooper win. Point out where I ( Northerner ) mentioned anything about result would have been different if those injured players for LC would have been playing and would have resulted in something different. Chill, don't get offended cause Cooper seems to be the underdog and the wise choice via poll to win.

It's all good. I just get tired of people always bringing up injuries as it they would have made a difference when they talk about Cooper beating LC is all. It was brought up by many during the game and before the game too as if it would have made a difference in the outcome. That is all. Not getting on you, just tired of hearing the injuries sound like an excuse is all.

So Cov Cath is awful and Ryle has beaten 3 winless 6a schools. Can you say overrated.

Are you going to be man enough to rescind that crap coming out of your mouth when we win.

I myself am scared poopless of Ryle, but the same time I can't wait until they set that ball on the tee and kick it off tomorrow night!

Man I love Football!

I'll brb, got to get in the Highlands thread and increase that one by 5 pages to catch up with this one ;)

There is no way that Cooper has 6 players with close to 400 yards rushing on top of TCA. that would give them almost 3000 rushing yards for the season at a clip of 450 yards per game at 5-2. You need to get a different stat guy because those are padded stats! lol

I said 6 kids have rushed the ball for Cooper (that would be 5 others other than TCA)

TCA has according to maxPreps 427 yards rushing of the 801 yards total rushing for Cooper That would leave close to 400 yards by the others. 2 of those players have negative yards rushing which means the 3 others make up the rest not including TCA's yards.

J. Jackson alone has about 270 yards

Cooper at the half 21-7, also winning at the end of each quarter. Ryle winning second half 28-17 but falling short of the win. Unless I am missing something, this seems to meet your criteria.

My criteria has has us winning...lol

You need to stay in here and keep this going.

Wow, this thread is 14 pages. How many will the SK/Ryle thread end up with? And how will the cousin posters treat each other? I think they're the same person. Can't wait for that one.

I think by now both teams are aware of who to key in on. These players are not new to each other at all. The interesting thing about this game is again, most of these kids grew up together, played with or against each other and at the end of the night there will still be respect paid on both sides! ( Hopefully in the bleachers as well) :whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling:

I guess you did not get it.... I will slow down for you.

Although someone made a prediction, that met the criteria you laid out for Cooper to be able to win, you still corrected them.

It seems like you struggle to comprehend what you are typing as well.

And on BGP if we are lucky!!!

I believe this to be true only on the second Tuesday of the week:cool:

I also agreed with you. Cooper would have won irregardless, the game would have just been closer if the QB and OLineman played. Who knows, possibly as close as the Ryle v LCA game was. Read all of my posts, I've probably given Cooper more respect out of any Ryle fan. I wish you would have watched the LCA game where I sat, it was very interesting listening to the LCA fans just tear the coaches a new one. Coach Engler was there listening to it as well and he is a former LCA coach. It was brutal.
